Elton John`s designer shop
Sir Elton John is opening a shop. The legendary singer and his husband David Furnish will open the doors to Out of the Closet on Saturday (12.12.09) in London`s Covent Garden and will give shoppers the chance to snap up pieces from their designer wardrobes.
Prices will range from £10 to £2,000 and the clothes - which includes Elton`s stage outfits and David`s favourite shirts - will be re-stocked each day until every thing runs out. On December 19 there will be a clearance sale before the store shuts. Elton and David open the shop every five years and as well as getting rid of their old clothes, 100 per cent of the money raised will be donated to the Elton John Aids Foundation. The pair`s pop-up shop has always proved popular in the past and celebrities including Elizabeth Hurley and Elle Macpherson have both dropped by to see what designer bargains they can pick up.
